It’s always a good idea to take extra care of your skin whenever we are transitioning into a new season. Spring is around the corner and will be here before you know it! Let’s shed that winter skin and make room for that fresh glowing skin that we’ve all been pining for.
Try these 6 tried and true methods that will keep you on top of your skin care game. Ready, get set and glow
This will remove the dead layer of skin that’s been lingering from the winter months.
Make sure to use something mild and all natural. I prefer to grind up adzuki beans and add it to my face wash every 3 days. It makes a great DIY scrub! Make sure to first heat the adzuki beans in a pan to remove the moisture and then grind them into a powder. You can keep them in an airtight container next to your face wash.
For the spring and summer season you may want to go a little lighter on your moisturizers and serums. You can still enjoy the healing benefits without slathering it on too thick.
Make sure to read your labels and use something without all the harsh chemicals.
This will help detox your skin and increase blood flow, which helps maintain healthy skin cells.
Make sure to drink plenty of filtered water and herbal teas. Also, include a good quality trace mineral supplement. Hydration is skin food!
Make sure you wash your face twice a day, especially in the spring. When spring has sprung and everything is exploding with life, there is an increase of airborne pollen that adheres to your skin and hair and can cause allergic reactions, not only sneezing and sniffles but also skin rashes and hives. Washing your face helps to remove the pollen and keep your skin from breaking out.
