Native to the sun laden countries of Africa, Australia, Madagascar, and the Arabia peninsula. Baobab tree is quintessentially African, and its uses there are prolific. The leaves and seeds are both edible and are put in culinary delights ranging from ice cream to beer. The oil has been used in traditional cooking (although the jury is out as to whether that’s a good idea or not). Baobob oil is an excellent moisturizer, soothing anti-inflammatory, and contains numerous antioxidants and fatty acids.
